What affiliate marketing means

A website recommends a product, and the shop pays the website a small commission if a reader follows the link and buys. The price you pay is the same with or without our link.

SAT and Amazon

SAT takes part in the Amazon Associates Programme, an affiliate programme that lets websites earn fees by linking to Amazon.in. Our links to Amazon.in carry our Associates tracking ID, so Amazon can tell that a visit came from SAT. Amazon pays us a fee for qualifying purchases made after a visit through our link. Amazon does not tell us who you are.

How we pick products

Our picks come from our own research: we read the maker's own pages and neutral sources, and we name them on each guide. We have not tested the products. A commission does not change what we write about a product, and we do not rank products by the commission they pay.

How affiliate links are marked

Affiliate links are marked as sponsored in the page code, open in a new tab and sit next to the sentence about commissions. Buttons such as "Search on Amazon" open a search or product page on Amazon.in.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell products or take payments. You buy on the shop's own website.
  • We do not show Amazon's prices, star ratings or customer reviews. We show price bands only, so please check the shop for the current price.
  • We do not offer rewards, discounts or cashback for using our links.
  • We do not buy through our own links.
  • We do not suggest that Amazon or any shop or brand endorses SAT.

Prices, offers and availability on Amazon and other shops are set by them and change often. The details on the shop's product page when you buy are the ones that apply.

SAT may join other retailer or brand affiliate programmes. Their links will be marked in the same way, and this page will be updated.
